When Vox Media announced its acquisition of Group Nine Media, I had the thrilling task of building the voice and vision of the newly combined company. The portfolio included award-winning editorial networks, all leaders in relevance and reach across every major consumer category.
My approach:
We positioned Vox Media’s re-introduction to the industry as the Modern Media Company.
Why it worked:
The combined company boasted an impressive diversified business model that made it a true leader of its time. This included industry leading advertising and marketing capabilities, a thriving podcast network and entertainment studio, as well as live events, ecommerce, and licensing businesses.
Through our brand direction, Vox Media set a new precedent for what a Modern Media company could look like.
